New to handbells, but not to music? Are you a handbell director with beginning ringers or new to directing handbells? Have you seen handbells but have never been able to try them? This workshop is designed for the beginning ringer or director looking to learn the basics of handbell ringing. Reading music is highly recommended.
Workshop topics will cover:
– The parts of a handbell
– Proper ringing mechanics
– Reading handbell notation
– Marking your music
– Performing different techniques
– Making music together as a team!
